Army Staff Sgt. Jack M. Martin III, 26, of Bethany, Oklahoma, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group, Fort Lewis, Wash., died September 29th, 2009, in Jolo Island, Philippines, from the detonation of an improvised explosive device. Martin is survived by his wife Ashley Martin, his parents Jack and Cheryl Martin, and siblings Abe, Mandi, Amber and Abi.

Reminder: According to the weatherman we are supposed to get some snow and ice tonight. Now, while I’m a little bit skeptical that it will actually happen, I just want to remind everyone that by default if Nixa Schools are closed, so are we. However, you also should check the website before coming in, as I will post if we are closed. If we are open, be sure to drive safely and carefully!

If we do need to close, I will also put up a home workout. So you will not have to go too long without your WOD!
